Voici les 411! Here’s the 411! Le Marché is owned and operated by a mother and daughter duo. Both relocated to Omaha in 2004 from Houston and Chicago. The Le Marché decorating style is described as "Casually Sophisticated" and "Paris on the Prairie." Merchandise selections, ways of mixing furnishings and even the store displays are one-of-a-kind. Le Marché, pronounced “luh mar-shay,” is French for “the market” or “the find.” Why is the store name french? It is not because it only contains things from France or because it only offers french-style furnishings. The store name is french because Le Marché embraces the french way of living. The french pamper themselves. They surround themselves with beautiful things ... beautiful architecture, beautiful furnishings, lighting, ... they create beautiful apparel, wonderful perfumes and body products. They take care of their souls. It is not uncommon to walk around Paris and find local establishments closed for an afternoon nap. It's not all about work and image and the rat race.
