As soon as she turned the corner onto Rue de Rivoli, Colette could smell the aroma of French baguettes fresh from the oven. She dashed into the bakery to pick up an afternoon snack when a woman stopped her to comment on her earrings and necklace. Colette was used to people asking her about her jewelry. The single crystal stone earrings set in old world silver were stunning and the Eiffel Tower charm necklace looked just like the one her grandmother had worn as a little girl.
